What is Nuktah?
An app for teachers in Algeria: photograph a handwritten grade sheet, every student matched by matricule, and complete class reports — with PDF export and Excel workbook updates.
Who is Nuktah for?
Teachers in Algerian schools — it follows the local grading system: grades out of 20 across three parts (continuous, test, exam), with wilaya, school and class structure.
How do I import an Excel sheet?
From the import screen: pick the ministry file (.xlsx or .xls) — classes and students are created automatically. Your first import is free; later ones draw from your credits.
Which file formats are supported?
Excel files in .xlsx and .xls, matching the ministry template — with student columns and matricules.
How does scanning work?
Open the camera and photograph the sheet — results are read by the OCR service, which needs an internet connection. A scan credit is consumed only after the read succeeds, never on capturing the photo.
Can I review results before saving?
Yes — the review screen shows every row matched by matricule before anything is saved, and you can correct any value by hand. Nothing is written without your confirmation.
Can I edit student or grade information?
Yes — students from the students screen, and any grade by tapping it on the grades screen; changes apply immediately.
What should I do if an import fails?
Check that the file follows the ministry template and has numeric matricules in the ID column, then try again. If it keeps failing, email us the file name and what happened.
Does the free version show ads?
Ads appear only when you run out of credits. You can watch a short ad for one extra credit (up to twice a day) — and the Pro tier is completely ad-free.
What do actions cost? Do credits expire?
The free tier covers manual entry, two scans and one import. After that, each scan, import or export costs one credit — and credits never expire. A Pro pack unlocks everything without limits.
How do I delete my account?
From the «Delete account» page on the web — confirmed by email, straight away and without a support ticket.
